For over 25 years the KW Classic has been part of Ontario Road Racing Events. The race will be held on its traditional semi-closed loop in the Hidden Valley area of Kitchener. The course consists of a fast 4.6 km circuit with rolling hills and features a 1 KM flat finishing straight that makes for exciting and spectator-friendly racing. The KW Classic Road Race is proud to be part of the 2012 Ontario Cup Road Series.
The Tour de Waterloo is growing again and will be a Gran Fondo (chip timing) road cycling event in 2012. The Tour is a mass participation event geared to all kinds of roadies; racers, serious cyclists, and non-competitive recreational riders. Cash prizes for top 3 Male, Female and Masters Male & Female plus Team awards. Register as an individual and/or register as a team. Distances are: 130, 70 & 40 km and is OCA sanctioned in support of the Grand River Hospital Foundation..
